​Larue's Hand in Clay is represented by clay artist Liz LaRue, an African/Latina Chicago artist who works in all clay mediums, ceramic, metal clay and polymer clay. She specializes in face portraiture & sculpture and line design. The artwork on these items here are drawn from her sculptures using Mayan hieroglyphics and Ghanaian Adinkra motifs in expressing the beauty of Afro-Latino faces.
